Platja Gran is a fine white sandy beach stretching for 7kms. It's the largest beach on the Balearic Islands.

There are plenty of fun things to do here; you can go windsurfing or parasailing; or just mess around on the water slides, sausage rides, catamarans, sailing boats and pedalos.

Platja Gran is also the safest beach in the area. The water flows calmly and deepens gradually.

The beach can be divided into two separate sections; 1. from the marina till Ciudad Blanca and 2. from Ciudad Blanca to Playa de Muro.

The first is the main sport and fun facilities area with a long promenade.

The second stretch is a lot more unspoiled. People come here to relax, chill out and enjoy the spectacular scenery or go running or walking. You can also rent out sun chairs and parasols in this very peaceful section.
