It's got the best navigational conditions on the island.

Although most of the bay is protected, the strong Tramuntana wind can produce excellent high speed sailing. Alcudia has conditions for both beginners and advanced.

Mallorca is famous for sailing. Every year, members of the European royalty along with various celebrities come here to witness the spectacular sailing regattas. These events attract the best international sportsmen.

Some of the most well known events are: the King's Cup, the Admiral Comte de Barcelona Trophy, the SAR Princess Sofia Cup and the Breitling cup, held in Palma Bay.
